About Amit

In his 25+ years’ career after an MBA from IMT, Ghaziabad, Amit’s fascination with understanding the consumer mind has seen him straddle various hats – Media Planner, Market Researcher, Marketing Manager, Account Manager, Brand Planner, and now Brand Consultant.

As a brand planner in some of the leading ad agencies in India – FCB Ulka, DDB Mudra, and McCann Erickson, he worked on some prominent brands – Whirlpool, Lay’s, Kurkure, Parachute, Saffola & Dabur to name a few.

2010 saw the launch of Learning Curve – a Brand Consulting and Training outfit. Operating on the principles of ‘no office’ and complete flexi-time working, Amit and his team have worked on strategies for brands ranging from small Indian entrepreneurs to large national and multinationals such as Unilever, OLX, Marico, Uber, Tanishq, Boomer etc.

Besides brand consulting, Amit’s passion is to share his perspective with students at various institutes. At MICA Ahmedabad, he developed a highly popular course on brand strategy called DCCaB (decoding consumers, categories, and brands) which is now part of their curriculum.
